Who  is Terry Baxter? NO ONE seems to know. But he (she?) put out a hacks-load of tunes on a number of records for Columbia - many of which fill the shelves at Higher-Than-Fi Headquarters. Baxter's version of 'Shaft' is incredible, with the guitar(?) sounding like a piece of sheet metal, and the lyrics delivered by the most square milk-toast of front men. And it's all happening on the next Jet Set Planet - Friday Night at 9 on KFAI.
